Artist Spotlight on Sunny Marx (@SunnyMarxx)
Growing up in Memphis TN, Sunny was influenced by a variety of music from Blues, Soul, R&B and most of all, hip hop/rap. Sunny was first introduced to the music scene in late 2010. His passion & persistent drive quickly began to build his name around the local hip hop community. From here, forward seemed to be the only direction for Sunny Marx. He jumped right in to the rap community and teamed up with various local and national artists on a wide range of collaborations, networks and production projects. He has currently hit the streets with performances in local venues with the “who’s who” in the Memphis underground scene and beyond. Along with performances, he recently released his first mixtape titled “Music Notes” and is currently in the process of building his first album titled “Brighter Dayz” which is looking to be released fall of 2012. With his creative southern style and positive attitude, there’s no doubt Sunny Marx has the potential and progressive drive to start from the bottom and work his way up through the hip hop rankings.
