Tyke T is a new artist determined to take the industry by storm with his new singles “Noo” and “Stop us now’’. Both songs exemplify musically the essence of Tyke; a fusion of hip hop and R&B filled with substantive lyrics that are honest, insightful and relatable. A skilled songwriter and story teller; Tyke’s diversity and fearlessness are demonstrated in both songs and will bring a much needed breath of fresh air into an industry currently oversaturated by redundancy.
Tyke was born and raised in Middle Tennessee and is now happy to call Memphis, TN home. Tyke first found a love of music early in life. He began writing songs at the age of 15. Never one to take things lightly he worked diligently to improve his craft, working hard to understand the elements that are integral to good song writing. His musical influences are as diverse as the artist himself and include rap artist such as Jay-z, Kanye West, Drake, 8ball &MJG, Outkast and UGK to R&B artists such as Jodeci, Bobby Brown and BBD.
Tyke is a creative force whose lyrics reflect a struggle most anyone can relate too. Driven not only by the love of music but also a passion to succeed; Tyke holds both a Bachelor of Business Administration and an MBA from MTSU proving that he understands the importance of both drive and education on the road to success. Tyke manages to convey his multi- faceted personality and skills in a bold, brash and articulately defiant style. He speaks to the passion in all of us and his fervor and intensity are destined to resonant with a diverse audience.
