Although, she is the last letter in the alphabet, this Z will be the first letter on your mind. Her graceful and theatrical stage presence, co-cola shape figure, and angelic and dynamic voice will keep you in a festering pool of entertainment! Those of you, who love the divas with wide ranges, will surely love this girl! Zaneta Elaine Lewis Barnes is a singer/songwriter/live performer/ recording artist from Tennessee. Zaneta has sung in churches, taken the spotlight in clubs, schools, talent shows and showcases. She has a deep passion for music with some of her inspiration coming from singers such as Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, Chaka Khan, and many more talented performers dating back through time. Although blessed with the gift of song and entertainment, she is intensely involved in the industry of acting and modeling. In the spring of 2011 Zaneta was casted as the one of the lead rolls in MTSU’s production of the Broadway musical, RENT. Her reviews raved with comments such as, “Z Lewis is a revelation as Mimi Marquez. She’s not only physically beautiful, but she has an amazing voice and a stage presence all her own. This being her theatrical debut, she certainly did very well. This girl deserves undivided attention during “Out Tonight.” Although she enjoys the dramatic arts, she is clear about where her passion is, “I am music and music is in me. I like to say that because I’ve been blessed with many talents, but music is my first love out of all of them.” She works with Tennessee’s finest producers, such as Jbeats, aiding in the development of some of her sound. She is also studying the industry with an emphasis on Songwriting, Voice, Marketing, and Entrepreneurship at one of the top schools that offer programs specifically for the Recording Industry. Far from her coloratura vocal (whistle register/ having wide vocal range) ability, her sound is shown in her two singles Turn Me On and Just Dreaming. She is currently working on new music and collaborations as well as future live performing events. Keep an eye on Z, you never know what you’ll see!
