Yes, I See The Difference In Emcees & Rappers. Mostly That Emcees Are “Lyricist” That Are Passionate About The Art Of Music and Have The Ability To Persuade A Crowd With Their Music In order, To Shed Light On Certain Issues & Social Injustices , Which Is The Basis of Hip-Hop…Rap Music As We Know It Today Is Mostly Viewed as Music Without Substance Or Messages About Improving The Quality Of Life As We Find In Hip-Hop, It Is Often Music That Is Created To Make The crowd dance, or get rowdy, or often send negative depictions that influences listeners to do the wrong things in life without the hopes of ever improving the quality of life. However, I don’t believe this is true for about RAP MUSIC because Rappers Have The ability to be “Lyricist” too!! On The Other Hand, I view both Rap & Hip-Hop as “Rhythm and Poetry” as a form of Self-Expression.
