#Mixtape: Deuce Fontane (@DeuciferLoser x @MilkIsRhyming) – 8 Bit Loser

Deuce Fontane’s latest release from Lawrence, LK based label Datura Records, comes in the form of 8-Bit Loser (The Non Album Album). After recently celebrating 10 years of service to the hip hop community, Datura Records, decided to liberate Fontane’s hidden opus for the masses. The album itself is a hodge podge of everything that makes Deuce great as an Emcee, as well as the progression summoned in the period of time it took Fontane to create his most recent work. Featuring guest appearances from some of the most talented artists in his native Kansas City, Missouri, 8-Bit Loser, shows not only Deuce’s versatility but also the effect making music with him has on others. The album bolsters a slew of features that includes, but is not limited to: Approach, ATILLA, Louiz Rip, Royce Diamond, Godemis (of Ces Cru and Strange Music), and Info Gates. Though it is assembled and listed as a “non album”, it definitely doesn’t lack those qualities which are associated with a full length release.
